"I started dancing by going to a creative dance class at DanceEast. Since then I’ve also attended contemporary and hip-hop dance classes. I’ve been dancing with Boys United for over two years. I really enjoy dancing and I particularly like the performance part. Dancing with Boys United has helped me be more confident. I like that we work as a team and have a voice to make suggestions that can influence the choreography. I feel less self-conscious dancing with this group and feel like I fit in rather than stand out, which was sometimes the case in other dance classes being the only boy."
