RHIANNON FAITH
A show about friendship, being a woman, and asking for help.
Rhiannon Faith suggested she needed therapy to cure her ‘talking on the telephone phobia’. Maddy thought she might need therapy to help tackle anxieties about her fertility. They attended sessions led by therapist Joy Griffiths. What they found out about themselves and each other ran far deeper.
The work is a series of vignettes based on a social experiment and deals with the physiological and psychological behaviours anchored in ‘Fear’ and performed using theatre, comedy, movement and performance. The performers use autobiographical text and the voice recordings of psychologist Joy Griffiths and perform a smutty, shocking and frank response.
This show is part of PULSE Festival 2016. Please note tickets for this performance must be booked through The New Wolsey Theatre Box Office.
This performance will be at New Wolsey Studio, St Georges Street, Ipswich.
