DanceEast is looking for 15 dancers aged 16 – 21yrs to join Tavaziva live on stage at the Jerwood DanceHouse.
Participants will work with distinguished choreographer and director Bawren Tavaziva, and one of the Company’s former dancers, Katie Cambridge, to create a new piece of work based on Tavaziva’s critically acclaimed production Africarmen.
Over the course of the project, participants will delve into the world of Africarmen by learning repertoire from the production. The project will culminate in a professionally made dance piece, which will be performed as a curtain raiser at the Jerwood DanceHouse on Friday 31 March.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any experienced young dancer, looking to create and perform work alongside a touring professional dance company. To register your interest, please contact Lizzie.Croucher@danceeast.co.uk for an application form.
