Dance For Parkinson’s

English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme provides high quality dance classes for people with Parkinson’s, their families, friends and carers. Incorporating live music and dance, classes are designed to encourage creativity, rhythm, and use of voice. Proven to support people with Parkinson’s, these classes will develop self-confidence and strength, whilst temporarily relieving some participants of their day-to-day symptoms.

English National Ballet and DanceEast have come together to provide six weeks of Dance for Parkinson’s classes on Zoom throughout the spring.

The pre-recorded classes will cover three English National Ballet repertoires across the six sessions.

As with our previously led studio-based classes, there is a capacity limit for this class, so we advise booking soon to avoid disappointment.

It is now five years since Dance for Parkinson's began and I went to the first class; I always find it so uplifting.  Kate, Calvin, the volunteers and the rest of the class are always such good company, and although participants have come and gone over the years, newcomers are very much welcomed and encouraged.
