WHAT TO EXPECT
This class begins with a series of basic movements and you will be talked through the breathing, working your way through the whole of the body.
If you join us for a Pilates class, you can expect to improve both your strength and flexibility and enjoy a period of relaxation too.
IS THIS CLASS FOR ME?
This class is suitable for all abilities, whether you’ve never tried the class before or if you’ve been doing Pilates for years.
“I try not to use any jargon or any unnecessary words – everything is simple and straight forward, but you will still find it quite challenging.” – Michael Mann, Pilates Tutor
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR CLASS
You should wear anything that you feel comfortable to move in and that is non-restrictive e.g. leggings, tracksuit bottoms or workout gear. It’s best if you wear socks and try not to wear trainers. You will also need an exercise mat for this class for example, a yoga mat.
Make sure you have water to hand, it’s important to stay hydrated.

TIPS FROM THE TUTOR
Below is a useful tip from our tutor, Michael, for while you’re taking part in the class. Try and follow along with what the Tutor tells you, but if you have any problems, just stop ask and the tutor will try and resolve the issue for you.
“I am very glad that I am now able to take part in my Pilates class again on Zoom – I’m still gaining a good workout. Michael is a very good teacher and so calm, he understood when I was unable to do a move and quickly provided a solution.”
You will have access to the full term of classes until Monday 4 January, 2021.
