It’s back! following last year’s popular festival we are delighted to host our second annual Community Dance Festival at the Jerwood DanceHouse in Ipswich.
7 SCHOOLS, 1 TOWN FRIDAY 1 JULY | 7.00pm
7 Schools, 1 Town is a project in partnership with Gecko. In 12 groups, 360 pupils aged 8 – 10 years that feed Northgate High School will be exploring what it is like to be a student in Ipswich today.
Each of the groups have taken part in workshops using dance and physical theatre and film making over the past six months to explore their idea of place, identity and home.
There will be screenings of each film in each school and a showing of all eight films at DanceEast as part of the Move | Be Moved Festival.
MOVE | BE MOVED PERFORMANCE PLATFORM SATURDAY 2 JULY | 7.00pm
